Veterinary Surgeon Reading (excellent relocation package available)
Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated veterinary surgeon to work in a established small animal veterinary practice in Reading, Berkshire. In this role you will be exposed to a variety of cases whilst having access to state-of-the-art technologies such as ultrasound, a digital x ray system, endoscopy, and much more
To be considered for this role you will should have a minimum of three years continuous experience of working in a small animal veterinary practice. Besides being a very confident and experienced veterinary surgeon, you also must have excellent interpersonal ,communication and mentoring skills. This role covers 39 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends/ OOH rota.
You will have the possibility of working with state of the art equipment including in house MRI machines and operating theatres. Certificate study is supported and will be fully funded, additional training will be given in leadership and management to allow personal and professional development.
Location details: Reading is a large town on the Thames and Kennet rivers in southern England. It’s known for the annual Reading Festival, an outdoor rock music event. Shops and riverside restaurants dot the town centre. It is considered one of the best places to live in the UK with excellent transport links to major London airports and Central London. You can be in Central London (Paddington) in 25 minutes with regular train connections!
The practice has incredible spacious facilities, in a privileged location with plenty of amenities and a friendly and experienced team. Parking on site and easy connection to motorway and public transport. The practice has the support of a nearby hospital which will allow you to provide excellent around the clock care to your pets. Other practices in the region specialise in laparoscopic surgery, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, medicine, ultrasonography, dentistry, exotics and ophthalmology, providing you with all the tools to provide the best care for your pets.
Salary and benefits: This is a 4 day week full time role and there is on offer a very competitive salary package up to £80000 (Full time and DOE) per year which includes a very generous accommodation yearly allowance (alternatively there is the possibility of free accommodation up to 1 year) and a car or car allowance. There is also £1500 CPD yearly allowance with three days paid CPD leave as well as paid VDS, RCVS, BVA fees.
