Veterinary Surgeon Lurgan Northern Ireland

This veterinary practice in Lurgan Northern Ireland is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon. In this role, the selected individual will oversee the veterinary team and ensure the delivery of exceptional medical care to our patients.

Responsibilities will include providing leadership to the team, ensuring quality care is provided, conducting examinations, diagnosing medical conditions, performing surgical procedures, prescribing medication, and offering guidance to pet owners. The Lead Veterinary Surgeon will also play a vital role in the overall management and profitability of the practice.

The position requires someone with clinical expertise in performing various surgical procedures, diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals, and providing emergency care. Proficiency in communication, time management, collaboration, and business management is also crucial. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, empathy towards animals and clients, and the ability to manage conflicts professionally.
