They are searching a Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team located in Parkstone, Poole.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience (UK or equivalent) and demonstrate versatility and confidence across various veterinary practices. The branch partner, highly experienced and committed, is enthusiastic about mentoring individuals eager to enhance their skills further. Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for patient and client care are essential due to the clinic’s devoted and involved client base.

This full-time permanent position, operating 4 days a week with a consistent day off each week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, ensures a great work-life balance. Additionally, there is a morning shift every 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. The Out of Hours (OOH) commitment is presently voluntary, with generous remuneration. The successful candidate will have the support of a highly experienced and amiable team comprising RVNs/SVNs/PCA and receptionists. They will also have abundant opportunities to collaborate closely with the 24-hour hospital situated in Parkstone, providing access to certificate holder surgeons and advanced surgical equipment.

Salary & Benefits: An attractive package of up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience), inclusive of a vehicle or vehicle allowance. £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days of CPD leave, in-house CPD training, and payment of VDS, RCVS, BVA fees. 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays. For candidates relocating more than 40 miles from their current address, relocation allowances are available. Additionally, support for Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa is provided, subject to meeting eligibility criteria and RCVS registration upon arrival in the UK.

Skills and Experience Candidates must be a registered Veterinary Surgeon with the RCVS. A minimum of 2 years’ veterinary experience with small animals (UK or equivalent) is preferred, with a well-rounded skill set.
