The role
Our 24 hour centre in Enfield is just one of 25 across the country that supports our practice network in the region. Here you’ll find everything you need to deliver exceptional care, from a professional and passionate team to extraordinary facilities, such as high spec ultrasound and a software system that enables truly continuous exceptional care, that’s always there. As qualified MRCVS , you’ll already be an experienced Night Vet or have experience within ECC, and you are dedicated to delivering outstanding emergency and critical care to your patients. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you’ll also have great communication skills and a confident, can do approach.

This role will involve working on an attractive 7-nights on, 21-nights off rota with a competitive salary package depending on experience. On top of the salary package you will also receive commission based on the work carried out by you. Medivet will also pay for your RCVS, VDS and BVA memberships and you will receive a £750 CPD allowance per annum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with all out-of-hour care within both the hospital and the surrounding Medivet clinics. Here, you will work alongside a dedicated night nurse, as well as having on-call vets and nurses available should you require additional support during your shift.

Skills and experience
The successful candidate will need a minimum of one year’s UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and have a passion for emergency and critical care.

Branch
Enfield is an established hospital led by Branch Partner Kelly.

Our busy hospital offers state of the art facilities including laparoscopy equipment, endoscopy, orthopaedic equipment (and separate orthopaedic theatre), digital and dental X-rays, in house bloods, ultrasound, radioiodine treatment unit. We also have easy access to CT and MRI.

This cat friendly clinic has a large, enthusiastic and experienced team made up of five vets, three night vets, eight nurses and reception team.
