Are you a qualified and experienced veterinary professional seeking a rewarding role with flexibility? This well-established 24-hour veterinary center in Dearne Valley is currently seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

As a Night Vet, you will be responsible for providing out-of-hour care within the hospital and surrounding practices, working alongside a dedicated night nurse. With access to shared software across all group practices, you’ll ensure seamless continuity of care for your patients.

This purpose-built facility boasts modern amenities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and a full-body CT scanner, as well as comprehensive in-house laboratory facilities. Role Accountabilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency procedures.
  • Utilize diagnostic laboratory, imaging, and ultrasound.
  • Prescribe medication.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to support team members.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and policies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified MRCVS with 2 years’ experience in small animal practice.
  • Proficient in clinical examination and surgery.
  • Ability to work sole charge and make sound clinical judgments.
  • Night shift experience desirable but not essential.
  • ECC Certificate holder or working towards certification preferred.
