Lead Veterinary Surgeon Folkstone Kent
Job description: Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting a veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years experience to work and lead a established small animal veterinary practice in Folkstone Sandgate Hill in Kent.
This role covers 39 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.
To be considered for this role you will should have a minimum of two years continuous experience of working in a small animal practice ideally as a lead veterinary surgeon. You will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice. You will have exceptional communication skills, alongside an interest in managing a team and developing a clinic to its full potential. You would also ideally have some management experience (not mandatory) as well as being confident working sole charge and able to perform routine surgeries, emergency stabilisation and general practice consultations.
You will have the possibility of working with state of the art equipment including in house MRI machines and operating theatres.
The Folkstone practice is very well established with a very loyal client base and has been awarded a Silver Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic Award from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).
Location details: Folkstone is a very important port town in Kent and it has a population of around 43000 people. There are excellent road and train connections to London. You can be in Central London by train in 50 minutes.
